Selling your home is often an emotional journey, and that deserves care
My role is to help you navigate the selling process with clarity and preparation, so you can make confident decisions without second-guessing yourself later.
Selling is rarely just about the house
Even when you’re ready, the process can feel layered and emotional. I’m mindful of that and take care not to push people faster than they’re comfortable going.
My approach starts with listening. From there, we create a plan that respects both the market and the moment you’re in. Some clients want to move quickly. Others need flexibility and time. There is no single “right” way to sell, only the way that fits your life.
When selling feels overwhelming, I step in and simplify it
Many sellers know their home needs some work before listing, but figuring out who to call, what order to do things in, and how to manage multiple small projects can quickly become the most stressful part of the process.
This is a problem I solve for my clients everyday.
Because of my experience and long-standing relationships with trusted professionals, plus my background as a licensed general contractor, I help sellers:
Identify what’s truly worth addressing
Coordinate the right people for the job
Keep timelines realistic and efficient
Remove the burden of managing multiple moving pieces
For sellers, this often means fewer decisions, fewer surprises, and far less stress, especially during a time that already carries emotional weight.
How the process of selling your home works with me:
01 STARTING WITH A LISTING CONSULTATION
We begin with an in-home consultation. I’ll walk through your home with you, talk through your goals and timing, and share a pricing recommendation based on current market conditions. From there, we build a clear plan and timeline.
02 PREPARING YOUR HOME
I help sellers identify the improvements and staging choices that make the biggest impact without unnecessary disruption. The goal is to help buyers see the home clearly and imagine themselves in it, while respecting your time, budget, and day-to-day life.
03 MARKETING, SHOWING, AND OPEN HOUSE
Once your home is ready, I coordinate professional photography and marketing materials, list the property, and schedule open houses. Throughout this phase, I communicate regularly about activity, interest, and feedback.
04 OFFERS, NEGOTIATION, AND NEXT STEPS
When offers come in, I guide you through the details, explain your options clearly, and advocate for your best interests. Once under contract, I continue to manage timelines, contingencies, and communication through closing day.
“Tara did an outstanding job for us, from the initial consultation to closing.”
We could not have been happier with the experience of selling our home, which could have been a lot more stressful. Tara went above and beyond with marketing, preparation, negotiations, and even small details that kept our house showing nicely. Her professionalism and knowledge, combined with her kindness, thoughtfulness, and wonderful calming personality, made the process really enjoyable.
- Rebecca, Magnolia
I work closely with sellers to:
Create a clear pricing and timing strategy
Identify high-impact prep that makes financial sense
Coordinate staging, photography, marketing, and showings
Navigate offers and negotiations with confidence
Whether you’re selling before buying, buying first, or doing both at once, I help you think through the process step by step, so nothing feels rushed or unclear.
You don’t need to be ready to sell to start the conversation
Many of my clients reach out well before listing to understand what their home might sell for, what prep (if any) is worth doing, or how timing could work.
Our first conversation is about information gathering, not pressure or commitments. It’s a chance to talk through your situation, explore options, and decide what makes sense for you.
